Carol Kamya

Profile

Carol Kamya is a health economist with a PhD in Health Economics from the University of Bergen.  Her doctoral research focused on the economic evaluation of sickle cell anaemia and malaria chemoprevention alternatives in Eastern and Southern Africa. She currently works at the Menzies School of Health Research, leading economic evaluations for malaria and other infectious disease research projects in the Asia-Pacific region. Her primary research interests include economic evaluation and implementation research in maternal and child health. She is passionate about developing innovative, effective, and efficient methods to integrate economic evaluation into diverse projects, transforming complex data into actionable insights that support decision-making and foster creative solutions.
