Cindy Chu

Cindy S Chu is a senior clinical researcher with a background in internal medicine/pediatrics working in the southeast Asia region since 2006. She has worked within the Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU) at the Shoklo Malaria Research Unit (SMRU) in Maesot, Thailand and the Lao-Oxford-Mahosot Hospital Wellcome Trust Research Unit (LOMWRU) in Vientiane, Lao PDR. She aims to improve health in populations in low middle income countries by improving health care delivery. Her research focuses on optimising the efficacy, effectiveness, and safety of 8-aminoquinoline treatments for Plasmodium vivax radical cure.
