Kerryn Moore

Dr Kerryn Moore is a trained epidemiologist and applied biostatistician in the Malaria and Infectious Disease Epidemiology Group at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health (University of Melbourne). Working in the fields of immunization, infectious disease epidemiology, and malaria, Kerryn has extensive international experience in the design and analysis of large and complex vaccine trials and post-licensure evaluations, and in working with large datasets in LMICs including epidemiological analysis, data management, and data manipulation. Kerryn completed her PhD in 2017 on the epidemiology of malaria in pregnancy, analysing 30 years of clinic data from the Shoklo Malaria Research Unit on the Thai-Myanmar border. From 2019-2024 Kerryn consulted to the WHO on the evaluation of the RTS,S Malaria Vaccine Implementation Programme (MVIP) in Ghana, Kenya, and Malawi. Her main research interest is in the epidemiological evaluation of malaria interventions and the advancement of methodological standards.
