Megha Rajasekhar

Profile

Dr Megha Rajasekhar is a biostatistician working at the Centre for Epidemiology and Biostatistics within the School of Population and Global Health at the University of Melbourne.

Megha’s current work includes research that investigates the tolerability, safety, efficacy and haematological consequences of primaquine dosing in vivax malaria by performing large scale analysis of individual patient pooled data. She is also working on a project looking at differences in the effects of primaquine in paediatric patients compared to adults.

This work is in collaboration with the WorldWide Antimalarial Resistance Network (WWARN) and aims to develop evidence-based dosing guidelines for primaquine for different ages and vivax endemic regions around the world.
