Muthoni is a PhD student at the Charles Darwin University (CDU) Menzies School of Health Research, supervised by A./Prof. Kamala Ley-Thriemer (Menzies) , A/Prof. Nora Engel (Maastricht University), Dr. Benedikt Ley (Menzies), Prof. Ric Price (Menzies), Dr. Tamiru Degaga (Arba Minch University). Muthoni’s PhD will use qualitative methodology to explore the influence of risk perception on the design and implementation of radical cure strategies for Plasmodium vivax malaria in Ethiopia.
