Rachael Yong

Rachael is an Honours student at the Burnet Institute and Deakin University, working with the Infectious Diseases Systems Epidemiology Group. Her project focuses on the prevalence of antimalarial drug resistance mutations in the Greater Mekong Subregion under the supervision of Prof Alyssa Barry, Dr Charles Nahr, Prof Freya Fowkes, and Dr Katherine O’Flaherty.

Rachael previously obtained a Bachelor of Biomedicine in 2023 at the University of Melbourne.
