Sophie Zaloumis

Profile

Dr Sophie Zaloumis is a senior biostatistician at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, The University of Melbourne, and previously was awarded an Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (2017-2019). Her research interests are Bayesian inference for high-dimensional non-linear models, pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modelling of antimalarial drugs and machine learning methods.

Within ACREME MASTER-MAP, Sophie will be involved with the pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modelling in research theme 3 (determining safe and effective antimalarial treatments) and the application of machine learning methods in research themes 1 and 2.
