Sunny Sanderson

Dr Sunny Sanderson is a Senior Research Fellow in the Global & Tropical Health Division at Menzies School of Health Research. Her current research is focused on an agricultural risk assessment evaluating land use change and increased risk of zoonotic malaria exposure in North Sumatra and North Kalimantan, Indonesia. She has previously undertaken research on the social and livelihood impacts of African Swine Fever in the Philippines, and the impacts of large-scale oil palm development on Native Customary Rights landowners in Sarawak, as well as gibbon and orangutan research projects in Kalimantan.
