Macie Lamont

Profile

Macie is a proud Worimi woman, working with Dr Rhea Longley as a Research Assistant within the Population Health and Immunity Division at WEHI. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedicine at The University of Melbourne and has worked on a number of projects within the Mueller Laboratory over the past few years. Currently, she is working on Development of a novel point-of-care P. vivax dot-matrix antibody test to accelerate malaria elimination. Macie also recently had the opportunity to visit collaborators in Thailand as part of an ACREME seed project, exploring cross-reactive antibodies in children without documented exposure to Malaria.
